Take a step back in time as The Hee Haw Gospel Quartet performs the beloved hymn ‘Just A Little Talk With Jesus.’ This iconic hymn is a favorite by so many around the world and it’s the perfect reminder that God is always by our side.

“I once was lost in sin but Jesus took me in And then a little light from Heaven filled my soul He bathed my heart in love and wrote my name above
And just a little talk with Jesus made me whole”

The Hee Haw Gospel Quartet was comprised of Buck Owens, Grandpa Jones ,Roy Clark and Kenny Price. Over the years, they covered all of the classic hymns such as ‘Amazing Grace’ and ‘Blessed Jesus Take My Hand.’

Today, they’re taking on another worship favorite as they belt out the words to ‘Just A Little Talk With Jesus.’

“He will hear our faintest cry and we will answer by and by Now when you feel a little prayer wheel turning You’ll know a little fire is burning
You will find a little talk with Jesus makes it right”

This dose of nostalgia is just what I needed to hear today and I’m not the only one. One viewer said, “Used to watch with Mom and Dad every Saturday night. Good Memories.” Another wrote, “Wish we had TV programs like this nowadays.”

I couldn’t agree more. Who else wants to see more of this on our televisions?
